Privacy notice

Pitstate Garage is currently a pre-launch product in active development and private testing. This notice explains the limited information used by this website and the developer preview.

Effective 30 August 2026

Information we may process

Depending on the features you choose to use, Pitstate may process:

  • Your email address and authentication information when you create or use a Pitstate account.
  • Vehicle, component, service, setup, session and event information that you enter into the app.
  • Receipts or images that you deliberately attach to a vehicle record.
  • Location information when you start a GPS or circuit-session feature and grant permission.
  • Messages and contact details when you email Pitstate for support or partnership enquiries.

How information is used

Information is used to provide the functions you request, protect your account, maintain your vehicle records, respond to enquiries and improve the reliability of Pitstate during development. Pitstate does not sell personal information.

Local and cloud data

The current Garage developer preview keeps core garage records locally on the user's device. Account authentication uses Pitstate's secured cloud service. Where future cloud-sync or provider integrations are introduced, the app and this notice will identify the relevant processing before those features are made available.

Location and permissions

Location is accessed only after device permission is granted and only for features such as circuit detection or recording a session. Permission can be changed at any time in the device settings.

Service providers

Pitstate currently uses Google Workspace for business communications and Supabase for account authentication. Automotive, retail or event information will only be connected through authorised provider agreements. Those providers may have their own privacy notices when their services are used.

This website

The initial Pitstate website does not use advertising trackers, marketing cookies or mailing-list collection. Standard security and delivery logs may be processed by the website host to operate and protect the service.

Your choices

You may request access to, correction of or deletion of personal information associated with the developer preview. During private testing, account and data-deletion requests are handled directly.
